Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

That DB9 above is deadly but I can't help think it would look nicer still with a pressed metal plate.

Is this the one with the weird block font reg? I saw it yesterday in the city centre, nearly ruins the car, for a weirdo like me anyway :D

It's all fun and games till you notice someone has wrote "call 086xxxxxxx 4 yokes" on the back of your bora and you've it parked right outside a primary school you're subbing in :pac:

Kinda sparked the end of my agri-spec career all those years ago...

That's pretty much it. It belongs to the Lane museum in Tennessee. It'll be there in a few months time.

Not very fancy, looks like badly sized font in an Excel cell

I think they’re those raised 3D font plates

First time posting on this. I saw a red (naturally) Alfa Romeo 8C (UK plates) in Dublin this morning - it was coming down the Chapelizod Bypass. That's pretty rare.

Sure its 8C ans not 4C ? Saw red 4c few times where you saw it. No front reg on it but yellow on the back.

This had a front reg. Now, 4C did register with me, but I looked up the pics and it was too big to be a 4C.

you know what, I can't be 100% sure it had a front reg. I could be mis-remembering there :o

Just saw a bmw i8 late 201 reg in skerries - spurred me to check beepbeep just to see how many have been sold new in the past few years - and it’s literally the only one in the past 18 months and, apart from ‘15 and ‘16 when 18 were registered in total, its only been 1 or 2 each year since. About 25 new registrations, ever.

I’d say there’s been plenty imported, as it’s a car you tend to see about, and depreciation wasn’t kind to it at all.

the i8 design has aged really well imho

I think it will look more and more awful as time goes on.

looking at the future perception of any car design is difficult - lots of ugly old cars are suddenly perceived differently today.

however, in our nation of virtually zero ‘real’ supercars, the i8 will always be rare and always turn heads. That’s all down to the design and nothing to do with the engine. It’s very well suited to our tax system too.
to lots of people, it’s the cheapest way to butterfly doors and a carbon tub.

<---- Such a shame that that BMW M440i has been vandalized. How the culprit wasn't caught blowtorching the front grill bumper and stretching it to look ridiculous.

It clearly didn't leave the factory like that! ;-P
