Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Bank Holiday Pay - Hours

Just a quick and, I thought, simple question ....... my nephew asked me how many hours he should get paid for a Bank Holiday?

He used to work 8 hour days plus an unpaid hour lunch break so got paid 8 hours for the Bank Holiday's ...... standard enough.

He now works 9.5 hour days plus an unpaid hour lunch break so he's wondering if he is legally entitled to 9.5 hours pay for Bank Holiday's??

Instinct tells me he is but I'm second guessing myself now .........

He's entitled to a normal days pay. Whatever that is for him.

As far as I know, it’s the average salary of a day based on the previous five weeks wages.
