Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Having a potential Eureka moment here,

Is it possible that Portal Tombs were Knowth/Dowth/Loughcrew style passage tombs that had the stonework robbed for other building purposes?

We already know that many times in the past building projects sourced materials from the closest pile possible.

    Any thoughts?

It's hard for me to get off the visible appearance of portal tombs as I've spent a long time thinking about them and to me they have a strong message that ''Life was hard and I bore that.''

It's Passage Tombs I find perplexing as I can't discern a clear message that the people might want to leave behind.
