Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Good price...I bought mine during the Summer for 1400 euro from eglobalcentral.

I'd also highly recommend the Meike MK-DR750 grip. Cost me around €70 from Aliexpress and came with a spare battery and a remote.

Was looking for a Kata bag since I like their construction and style (taken over by Manfrotto- same range but not quite the same style) and I came across some items still on WEX for great prices.

the double cashback is also available from irish retailers incl. conns cameras. it's €140 on the 700 for example, which makes the price €509 which is as good, if not a little better, than amazon.co.uk. upto the 13th Jan. as well.

Not sure if chat is allowed in here but myself and my girlfriend picked this up last week as we had been talking about buying a decent camera for a while and she wanted to start going to a local photography class.

Seems like a great bit of kit and have taken some nice shots with it so far (From my amateur eye).

If anyone has any recommendations of extras that would go well with this I'd appreciate the feedback.

Harvey Norman Limerick : probably store specific, but just in case they might be available in other stores :

Manfrotto 190xprob Tripod with 496RC2 Ball Head - reduced from €249 to 50 (I got this, none left)

Giottos Silk Road Series GYTL9353 with a head (couldn't see the model number) is reduced from €150 to €50 - I left it on the shelf at the bottom of the tripod stand.

both were display models, with some scratches to the heads and both were missing some parts from the heads as well.

There are millions of 'how to' videos all over the web, that are free to watch.

Set yourself a theme to photograph, and stick to it.

Take more pictures than you think you need, and your technique will improve.

Join a camera group/club. Get out with your camera and take notes of what you are doing. Go back again and take more shots.

Have a look at their schedule for upcoming classes, you can watch them all for free while they record them. You only need to pay if you want to be able to see the class after it has been recorded. A great way to know exactly what you are getting before you pay out.
