    Does anyone know if it is possible to get to Ireland's Eye... it is supposed to be great for birds and I would be really interested in going there.

    yes its possible, during the summer at least. Departure times depend on the tide. It's a great spot to spend a few hours. This website has contact details for the boatman, as well as some bird details.
