Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Anyone have a link to the parody twitter account of De Ribena Racist? I'd imagine there would be some GOLD on that....

I can't remember it now but if you find the thread about her that was going at the time, someone had a link in there.

I listen to many radio stations from all around the wurdld. Never have I even once been tempted to call, mail, text or tweet any one of them. Joseph Duffy is so lucky to have such a wide audience who feel the need to contact his gravy train. ;)

I would estimate that 90% of his regular audience have never been on the internet, haven’t a clue what a podcast is, or have ever listened to anything other than RTÉ radio and the death notices on whatever local radio station they also listen to so to speak as they say.

Couldn't believe they kept the pro Trump caller on the line for the whole show. She was doing nothing more than ranting on with blatant lies whilst under the influence of something strong. I'm all for balanced debate but she was contributing nothing factually to the debate.

I assume she was left on for trolling purposes only.

No idea but would be interested to know. Duffy said she was calling in from Dallas which has a 6 hour time difference if my calculations are correct. That would mean she was calling in at 07:30 AM local time. She sounded pretty tuned up for that time of the morning.

What struck me was that he seemed exasperated by her contributions and was even second guessing her answers yet still decided to keep her on the line. When someone is blatantly lying and peddling untruths they should be cut off immediately.

Was it not the middle of the night? :pac:

Note: I know you’re fairly new here, for context if Mr. Duffy calls anyone from basically outside of Europe in his mind it’s always “the middle of the night”. Even New York, a mere 5 hours behind us is apparently in the middle of the night when it’s 2:30pm here so to speak as they say.

Not being smart but when has there been anyone coherently speaking on behalf of Trump? He has surrounded himself with sycophants who don't have a moral bone in their bodies.

Hilarious, got a phone call from de Beacon hotspittle to give me a date for my Colonoscopy. I reminded them I don’t have a colon to scope . But, but, but, they said, the scan report shows you have a colon. “No I don’t” sez I. “Phone you back in a while”, they say. So they concede that I mustn’t have a colon if I had it removed, they’ll scope what’s remaining if my insides instead in July.
