Leaving credit in PayPal?

    Is it safe enough to leave credit sitting in PayPal?

    I was hoping to build it up towards a €1000 for a online purchase by topping up from the bank account gradually

    Do they normally retain some of the money if you're not selling anything,I've only sold a few items in the past,I know they can retain money in case of a complaint.

    If buying through PayPal and paying in a foreign currency their charges on the transaction will be a couple of percent higher than if you use a bank account to convert your money. Revolut and N26 are both safe options that give free currency conversion as far as I know.

    Don't expect anything from life, just be grateful to be alive.
