Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hey, so I’m heading off to college on the 13th but I’m having trouble finding accommodation. So I think I might stay home for the first year of college and save up as I only live an hour away from the college and commuting is cheaper . Do you think that this will this make it more difficult for me to meet new people if I’m not living on campus ? And how will I enjoy the night life for freshers week if I’m commuting?

Don't worry. There will be lots of others in the exact same situation. When I started in DIT (2001😮) I was living at home and made friends with people who are still my friends today. The best parties are always off campus and there's always a couch to crash on!
    Enjoy freshers and don't stress.
