Need help translating my Chinese tattoo I got aged 16! Its supposed to say "family" but I've also been told: chalk, holiday, enjoy the world and loyalty

Someone who genuinely is 100% Chinese literate please enlighten me.. it would be good to know if it even actually sense or not!

    Dreading the response..

族 in Chinese means "tribe" more than family - I asked wifey who's Chinese.

    Family in Chinese is 家
