Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Got stopped doing 89kmph in 60kmph zone ...100 yard stretch I was slowing down from 100-60...unmarked car got me and followed me and put blue lights on...took my details told me to produce certificate of insurance and licence in local Garda station...and I wouldn’t get points!
    So I did...the woman behind the counter said thanks ..that was that.
    Month later got the 3 points 90€ fine ...

    What can I do I don’t want them? Is there any loopholes to get rid of them by Wednesday the 2nd December 2020 which would be the 56th day to pay the fine which now stands at 120€ as I passed the 26 day period


    Probably better off to pay the money and fight the case in court...it’s my word against the guards ...they have the power

    I've read this OP's post a few times and I'm still trying to understand how they think they were hard done by here.

    89 in a 60 is fair bit over the speed limit especially when most speedos are over calibrated than the actual speed so your speedo was probably showing more than 90 when you were actually caught by the unmarked Garda car. I really don't see what grounds you think you have to appeal these in court to be honest. I don't see how you were hard done by or how this is someone else's fault.
