Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Learner permit extensions

My advice to anyone who has an extension on their learner permit is to renew it.

I’d a pupil refused test today despite the NDLS website telling her the LP was extended til February.

The tester had different information so couldn’t conduct the test.

I’ll not be drawn into specifics about the situation for obvious reasons.

Following with interest as my permit is due to expire (as per the website) the day after my test, which is in a weeks time.

Following on from the below, would people recommend that I renew my learner permit now, before I take the test?

If I fail, and it expires as per the expiry calculator the next day, will I have to through the whole
process from scratch again to get a new one?

Just make sure to check the correct box on NDLS website and you'll get the correct date of expiry.

    Believe me, we did that.
