Getting an old iphone/android phone handset?

    Apparently people throw these out every day.

    I need an old handset to act as a computer hotspot.

    Is there somewhere one can pick one of these up cheaply, or for free?

    Those screen repair shops you get would have them, but you would have to pay something.

    Usually asking around work etc gets one for free/ price of a couple of pints etc - but thats hard in the current situation..

    What exactly do you need? Is this for a permanent arrangement/ internet connection?
