Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi All,

Does parental leave affect your pension?
As in when they are counting the years in service?

    Thanks

Parental leave, like all unpaid leave and strike days affect your pension AFAIK

    Correct.

Just a note to the OP. They count your service to the day, not by whole years. So a couple of weeks here or there won't make a huge difference.

Hi, Does anyone know if spouse can claim additional tax credit for single earner, while the other is on Parental leave. (parental not maternity/paternity - the unpaid kind).
