What to wear with this skirt?

So, I just bought this skirt from coast: http://m.coast-stores.com/pws/ProductDetails.ice?ProductID=1412365

You could describe the colour as blush, and its got a slight raised hem at the front. My question is, what top to wear with it?

I like the top the model is wearing in the link, but I'm looking for tips on what other style top or colour I could wear. I'm a little worried the top in the link could wash me out.

I'm wearing the skirt for a ball, so the outfit needs to be formal.

Looking forward to your suggestions.

I tell a lie in the OP, I haven't actually bought the skirt yet,I'm just planning to!

Thanks guys! Do you think it's okay for a ball though? I was looking for a long dress, but couldn't see one that fitted right anywhere. They were all too long or else too big on the bust. That's why I like this outfit, it means I can get different sizes top and bottom.

I've also never worn a high waisted skirt and crop top before. I'm not flashing any flesh, but it feels a bit weird all the same! Normally any dresses I wear are fitted at the waist.

I think a corset style top (like this one, but not necessary it) or a silk cami top tucked in would also go really nicely with that skirt. Colours like cream or grey will go lovely but also probably black.

Personally because it's such a lovely skirt I would probably go plain on top, but that's just my own style.

It's a coast outfit, they had that style out last year. This year its blush instead of grey.

I decides to bite the bullet and buy the whole get up. Now I just news to decide on accessories!
