    Misleading advertising... It's only half price "fish & chips” not
    half price "chips" or
    half price "fish"

    My local ITICA chipper has run out of smoked cod and wouldn't honour half price chips on their own. Bad form after queuing up for half an hour.

    Just call your chipper to make an order for collection. Go there 40min later and don't queue, go straight to collection till (no queue). I do this every year with my chipper (Macaris 66)

    A Macaris in Drogheda has been doing it all week. Had mine on Tuesday. €4.95 and no queuing, good size portion too.
