Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The Corgeut I had lasted about 9 months before it stopped dead. The watch might be €50 but postage will be €10-15 and a new strap at least €20 (the ones they come with are comically bad). There's no value there IMO, especially when you consider that even a €20 Timex will keep ticking for years. Corgeut/Parnis and the like seem to be watches for the enthusiast who wants a new toy for strap money, not the guy who just wants/needs a reliable watch.
Hang on to that €80, save up another €150 and you're only a tenner away from an entry-level Laco flieger. It has great looks, serious pedigree, rock solid reliability and you'll flip it easily if you get bored.

Oh and just a tip - the Chinese have their "black Friday" on 11.11 - so if you go onto Aliexpress you'll see special sales for this date (it blows US Black Friday out the water in terms of money spent...something like 10 million bras alone are bought on "singles day" (ironically)).
Singles day 11.11 is named because everyone is 1 on that date
Which actually reminds me to have a look on Taobao/JD.com to check out their sales (think Amazon but 10-20x bigger).0 -

Could be fake F91Ws btw (yeah they exist - go figure!) (and I'm saying this as someone who wants a native Chinese watch industry to succeed... - just take precaution if a deal is too good to be true).
11.11 is singles' day - so just the 24 hours. On the Chinese native sites there's usually a limit (first 200 people etc. - which in China goes...er very fast
). For Aliexpress I don't know if they have unit limits - it's unlikely to be as fierce as Chinese sites. Oh and you can get better deals on native Chinese sites like taobao.com - but you have to pretty much speak Chinese, have a Chinese card or use a buying agent which will bump up the price again. 0 -
