Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    No spanks.

they're not actually pvc leather. They just have that look about them. They're actually material. I'd say they'd be quite comfy too.

    absolutely awful looking things.

I like these leggings but don't think the average jo soap would get away with them - i'm a size 10 and I prob wouldn't even wear them due to my child bearing hips!

Well I wouldn't wear them with a homeless bag lady coat like Michelle has done, that's for sure. I think you could wear them with just about anything tbh.

I was thinking maybe sort of a loose fitted top like nothign too long or anything in maybe a nice purple colour and I bought nice boots the other day so I'll be wearing those over it... I'm dying to get mine. I didnt' realise Vero Moda did them and I bought them from American Apparell. I'm so excited about getting them.

Well she was never adverse to the idea of liquid leggings as I'm sure she's never even heard of them/seen them before, but I shall put the idea to her.

Lol, that's adorable! I wish I had a boyfriend keeping a lookout on fashion forums so he could tell me about all the latest trends!:pac:

I really like these! I ordered a pair from topshop.com because they don't seem to have them instore and I didn't want to pay €42 to american apparel for them (God knows I order enough from them-I wish they would open here!). I'd love to find a nice pair of skinny real leather pants, but I don't have the money at the moment. I'm size 8-10 and I plan on wearing them under dresses and long tops.

    What's wrong with her?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 716 ✭✭✭SarahJ

I didn't say there was anythin wrong with her, I quite like her, but those leggings are not good on her one bit.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 26,928 ✭✭✭✭rainbow kirby

They just aren't really designed for muscly girls like Serena Williams. They look better on someone with actress/model-skinny legs.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,009 ✭✭✭✭Kintarō Hattori

Ah but I don't think they are liquid leggings, they look more like spandex or something equally hideous. Also that photo is taken at an akward angle and in fairness she is an athlete so her legs are somewhat more muscular than the average lady.

My LL's should be here on Thursday so excited. Would anyone have any objections to this top that I'm thinking of wearing with them. Is it a bit much do you think?

as far as i know they're not actually pvc leather just have that wet look off of them so they're just like normal leggings really.

Did you wear them with stiletto's or Knee High Boots? Were they black?

  • Registered Users Posts: 522 ✭✭✭keevita

I wore them with a purple jersey dress and dark brown ankle boots but wasn't really feeling it to be honest!

Have a pair of black platform stilettos from office that will go great with them, thinking of a long dark grey goonies tshirt i have, black blazer and some gold jewelry for a night out.

The missus got a pair today in Topshop for E27 (yay!). She tried Vero Moda but they only had large and extra large as the other sizes sold out. Seemingly they won't be getting small or medium back in as they don't want to get stuck with more of the larger sizes (seems like a weird way to do business, can they not just order the popular sizes?). In TopShop there were none on display but an assistant had a look around and found her a pair in her size. Seemingly they can't keep them in stock either as they sell out almost as soon as they arrive.

I was unfortunate enough to be dragged around the shops by the missus there at the weekend and everywhere seemed to have them still.
