Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Probably a square
    Are you a good dancer?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,104 ✭✭✭Trigger Happy

No, not any more. Desperate in fact. Wanting to dance on a night out is my Canary for time to get my drunken ass home.

Do you know when to go home on a night out?

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,525 ✭✭✭magic_murph

10 seconds after I have pissed mine or somebody else's pants.

Would you like to go for sneaky pints now - ditch work and go suppin?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 57 ✭✭AG041

Jesus I'd love sneaky pints right now, but I don't think my boss would approve.

What is your go-to food after a feed of pints

Double cheeseburger, triple whopper or pieces of chicken.

Pineapple on pizza - yay or nay?

Definitely , a ham and pineapple pizza might upset the purists, but it is actually lovely

Looking at the post above, do people still really like Burger King??

    Proper burger, yes!

If you had a choice - McDonald's, Burger King or Supermacs?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 57 ✭✭AG041

For breakfast: McDonalds. For a burger: Supermacs. For Fries and Milkshakes: McDonalds!

    Sorry for the cop out!

Have you ever seen a dish cooked on a cooking show and actually gone out and cooked it yourself?

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,525 ✭✭✭magic_murph

Supermacs chicken breast sambo (only thing I would eat in Supermacs) haven't eaten in McD's or BK in 20 years
There is a definite market for higher quality late night food.

    whats for lunch?

Lasagne left over from last night.

Do you buy or bring lunch?

I mean to bring but more often than not I buy.

What housework job can you absolutely not stand

Ironing is a pain in the hoop and so I outsource it.

Would you hire a cleaner if you had a bit extra cash?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 57 ✭✭AG041

I have often contemplated it. I don't know why I don't do it, for the benefit I would get out of it it would be worth it.

On the flip side, is there any household task that you don't mind doing, that you actually enjoy?

I don't mind hoovering too much.

Do you find Tuesday is more depressing than Monday on a working week?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 57 ✭✭AG041

At times, it definitely can be. Depends on whats going on in work

Do you look forward to the commute home as you can unwind, or is it pure hardship?

My commute home is in the morning and I'm going against the traffic so it's fine! 20 minutes usually!

What's the longest you've ever been stuck in traffic?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 57 ✭✭AG041

I was once stuck for 2 hours on the M50 due to a crash.

Have you ever been in a serious car accident

Yes, destroying it by trying to destroy the lives of others. Sooner it's gone, the better.

Would you rather be a practicing Scientologist or a Wahhabi Muslim?

Not sure, don't know much about either.

If you couldnt watch films or sport on screen anymore which would you pick?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,104 ✭✭✭Trigger Happy

What would I pick, films or sport? Films, no doubt.

Prefer hot chocolate or hot whiskey?

I'll have a hot chocolate with whiskey in it since you're asking :)

Marshmallows on top of hot chocolate, yay or nay?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,104 ✭✭✭Trigger Happy

Not for me. I like my hot choc like Butlers intended.

What sweets do you have in the house right now?

A selection of chocolate bars, Picnics, Boosts, Doubledeckers and Snickers, also a bag of chocolate limes and one of those pink and white nougat bars, some little packers of jellies too.

Have you got a sweet tooth?

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,328 ✭✭✭Upforthematch

What should I indulge in to celebrate reaching 250 posts?

I like yourself quite a bit, but lots of good questioners

    Is acceptance important to you.

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,633 ✭✭✭✭Widdershins

I'm not sure. Being accepted into the family by my partner's family was important to me. I don't usually think about it.

Have you ever been sponsored to do anything for charity fundraising?

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,223 ✭✭✭✭RMAOK

Yes - a charity head shave when I was a teenager.

    Do you like mustard?

    It's vile.

How much physical money did you spend today?

To thine own self be true

If you had to spend the rest of your lifetime in jail, would you rather share the cell with Prince Andrew or Jimmy Savile?

What ratio of cash to card would you generally use?

Have you a hidden stash of cash in your house?

    No. I wasn't out much.
If you had to choose a team in the Sheffield derby.
Would you be a blade or an owl ?

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,223 ✭✭✭✭RMAOK

Owl - for no other reason than I'd prefer the colour blue to red.

Do you have many regrets in life?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,104 ✭✭✭Trigger Happy

Not really to be honest. If 18 year old me had a wee look at the life I have now he would have been happy enough I reckon.
Sure, there have been bumps and bangs a long the way but no major regrets.

If you were absolutely compelled to sing one Karaoke song at a party- what song would it be?

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,223 ✭✭✭✭RMAOK

    Wonderwall by oasis

    You?

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,633 ✭✭✭✭Widdershins

Take me to church by Hozier.

Only regrets are letting myself be brainwashed to a relationship I didn't want, this year, and compromising principles and standards in the process, and in my murky distant past, being reckless with people's hearts.

    Would you date yourself?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,550 ✭✭✭✭cj maxx

Yes. And sleep with me on a first date.
    Do you work 9-5 ?

    No.

Can you see any towers or structures from your house that have to have warning lights to warn low flying aircraft at night?

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,223 ✭✭✭✭RMAOK

Nothing like that - I live in a very rural location.

Are you good at reading signs from women/men who might be taking an interest in you?

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,328 ✭✭✭Upforthematch

    Useless!

What adjectives describe you on your dating profile? If you don't have one what would they be?

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,223 ✭✭✭✭RMAOK

    Boring, overweight and ageing badly

What celebrity do you think you look like?
