Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Getting a donor egg - experiences and options?

    Hi,

My partner (f) and I (m) have been through a few rounds of IVF in Dublin and are now prepared to look for an egg donor.

It seems that most clinics I look at don't allow the recipients to choose donor, but the donor is chosen by someone else based on characteristics of the woman. It seems that some other clinics abroad allow the recipients to choose the donor (eg Intersono in Ukraine). Intersono is used by SIMS but SIMS don't seem to pass the ability to choose the donor on to us.

Does anyone here have experience with using a donor egg?

We would consider travelling abroad to a clinic that allows us to see photos of donors. Does anyone have experience going abroad?

Has anyone had a positive experience with a donor program in Ireland which they can share?
