Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

i too have gotten 50euro off of them this year and i dont even complete half of the surveys i get sent! just wondering whats the highest paying survey you were ever offered....i just did one for 2.50...don't think i've ever gotten one for higher than that?

hey guys this is my first time on this site.

Anyway, i am with irish opinions for over a year now and i have been doing quite well. On average i'm probably getting 3 or 4 surveys a month. I am on over 50 euro with about 10 euro pending. It seems fine to me anyway although i too have noticed that some surveys ask you alot of q's before saying i don't qualify

For what it's worth, I have had no trouble with this website. I've been a member for 2 years, in which time I've received 100 euro in separate ten euro vouchers. I spend mine on Amazon. The code is just emailed to me, no fuss.

I go through phases of not bothering to fill them out, if I'm too busy or whatever. I get about 3-4 surveys a week. I don't qualify for them all, no one will.

hi i joined irish opinions about 2yrs. ago and i have received over 200euros.in rewards.i had no problem getting surveys,it just takes time to build up.but its worth it in the end,i use mine for boots, great!!!

I'm an Irish opinions member for the last two or three years and have received about €100 in Amazon vouchers over that time. I don't bother hardly filling in the surveys anymore though as they should change their name from Irish opinions to Alcoholic Opinions as all there surveys are about is usually drink, either that banks or mobile phones. Totally unimaginative and I hate getting the drink surveys, like how much stuff about Alcohol do these stupid companies need to know??

It seems to be taking a lot longer than normal for them to pay out. I am stuck on 9.75 for a long time now.

I posted a positive review awhile ago. I've since become a little annoyed. My current reward balance is 9.25 (which sucks because you can't claim a voucher until you reach a tenner). My "pending credits" are 10.75, which brings the total to 20 quid.

I thought, great, I can use that on Amazon for some Christmas shopping. Some of those pending credits have been "pending" for at least two months.

I fill out every survey I'm eligible for, and I read them through and fill them out properly. Some of them can be time consuming, but it's worth it because the vouchers are easy money and come in handy. However, it's not worth waiting over two months for your vouchers.

I joined Irish opinions in January 2010, I am currently waiting for my SIXTH voucher. I get offered a survey at least once a week and do it (if I meet the criteria) as soon as I see it, takes about 20 minutes out of my week. Can't see the scam myself

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 29,473 ✭✭✭✭Our man in Havana

It's a scam when they refuse to pay out. Leaving people waiting months to be paid is not on.

did anyone else get the newspapers surverys this week. very handy money for feck all.

a 5 minute survey everyday for 1 euro and if you complete them all its a fiver bonus. happy days:D

I did them. Handy money if they pay out quickly.

I get emails from them almost daily, I've given up filling them out as they bore me.

very true, although I try and let them build up to about 50 in rewards and take them all then. I currently have 15 pending and 20 paid out.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 58 ✭✭BlubberyGiraffe

I like the site. Currently 33 euro with a tenner pending!

At the start they never sent out but when you fill your profile in it helps!

I'm happier cashing in every time it goes to 10 euro.

There are so many businesses going to the wall these days. It's a bit like holding vouchers for high street shops. Your credits could become worthless with no warning.

It's nothing against Irish Opinions, hopefully they are doing well. But I don't want to be left with 40 euro odd in vouchers which I could have claimed but didn't if they were to close in the morning.

At the moment they are not giving out amazon vouchers. To me that is no good as the other types of voucher are of no use to me.

I was given the option to claim an Amazon voucher.

I've switched to getting Tesco vouchers, though. They arrive quickly and they're handy for grocery shopping. I realized that when I got the Amazon vouchers, I'd still end up paying lots for delivery costs.

Just home from a meeting I got through a survey I did on Irish opinions.

50 euro cash in hand for 45 mins... Happy days.

If I get two seperate amazon vouchers of £9 each, would I be able to combine both of them on amazon to buy one product? Or am I better letting it build up and a ~£20 voucher?

You receive a voucher number that you enter just before you click purchase. You can enter as many as you like, so you can get the vouchers separately if you want and still use them on one transaction.

I did that one too and I haven't got the bonus €5 yet. Also I had a €2.50 survey credit pending and €13 in the other part and the pending disappeared and never got sent to the other amount. Not really impressed anymore.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 29,473 ✭✭✭✭Our man in Havana

In fairness to them I did get the €5 bonus on the newspapers.

What has annoyed me lately is it is taking longer and longer to get credited for completing the surveys. Also they are obsessed with sending the same booze related surveys the whole time. Listing brands of stout, ales and lager is getting boring now.

I have €60 built up over the last 12 months, when I had the time I did them when I didnt, I ignored the surveys..

I planned on using the vouchers for an Amazon Kindle, but the codes for the vouchers they give you only work on amazon.co.uk site. However they don't the kindle from that site to Ireland, you have to go to Amazon.com for that.. so not very happy to say the least

    Anyone know anyway around this?

    Tox

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 29,473 ✭✭✭✭Our man in Havana

Order it form the UK site and have it sent to a friend who then sends it on to you. There is some place in the north that will resend a package to you for €25.

No other way around it. I am saving for the Kindle also and will be using a UK friend to get it for me.

I am getting sick of them sending me the same alcohol surveys the whole time. It should be called Irish Alcohol Opinions.

I'll do the same surveys over and over again if it's for few minutes a few evenings aweek. I've just got a €20 tesco voucher and I'm nearly back up to €10 credit again already. I seem to get bout €10 a month from the surveys and let's face it, it's not exactly hard work now!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 29,473 ✭✭✭✭Our man in Havana

It is if you are answering the same old crap every week.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 131 ✭✭nix84

dya know what, I take it back. I've just opened another survey and it's about alcohol! I'm not even a big drinker and you'd imagine they'd have more pressing matters to be surveying these days!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 276 ✭✭cat_dog

Amazon voucher rewards not available at the moment :( Hope they don't stop doing them

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 29,473 ✭✭✭✭Our man in Havana

It happens from time to time. Should be more there soon.

thats so true, ive gotten about 70 euro vouchers out of them now and i would say 50% is alcohol at least. they seem to drag on with those alcohol surveys aswell and i end up bull****ing with half the answers to get it over with

    No they aren't.

If you read the thread you'll see a ton of people who have gotten their vouchers.

i only joined 2 months ago and have already received a 10e tesco voucher and have enough for another one just need to order it and will have 1.50 left over for the next round.

    def not a scam

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,775 ✭✭✭Zagato

    Whatever about the voucher scam,

What worries me is that when I sign up: first they want my address, then I get asked some casual questions pertaining to how many people live at the address, what they are engaged in employed/unemployed/student, followed by what is the household income, are there any dogs or other pets, and next I kid you not, but a checklist of what consumer electronics you have in your household!!!

I thought the next question was going to be Do you have an alarm?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 29,473 ✭✭✭✭Our man in Havana

The secret is to create fake profiles to rake in the cash. Never give them any real details.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 33,518 ✭✭✭✭dudara

Just to point out that Boards does not condone the kind of activity mentioned above.

I'd be pretty sure that there is something in their T&Cs about that.

  • Site Banned Posts: 20,686 ✭✭✭✭Weepsie

my problem is the amount of surveys they send and then say youre not eligible for even if you lie and put in the answers you should or that the closer you get to 10 quid the longer they take to add it to your balance. im holding out on buying some stuff from amazon until they give me my latest voucher!
