Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Really bad wind and rain here in the last 20 minutes. Some of the worst wind since spring. Out of nowhere and dying down again 10 minutes later. It was like a truck driving through the house. Woke everybody up.

Sferics showing up near here in Kerry, didn't hear or see anything but a big squally shower went through around the time so presume it came from that. Blustery in the now more frequent showers this evening .

Flash and a loud rumble in Galway city.

Think I can hear faint rumbles in the distance however it's busy where I am so hard to tell.

Had some more thunder and lightning in Galway around 4am this morning

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 18,227 ✭✭✭✭JCX BXC

3rd time in the last month I can remember thunder and lightning in Galway, rare I see it this often.

Pity theres no real thunderstorms, it's just a flash and rumble or two in a heavy shower.

Cold uppers again Monday and Tuesday. Isolated thunderstorms potential , more so around the coasts, maybe a few straying inland a bit on Atlantic coastal counties.
