    Tasty. Similar to Cod. If I plated up the 2 without telling you, you'd hardly notice the difference.

    Most of the “cod” you buy in the chipper is battered pollock.it would be a cousin of the cod and you can’t taste the difference

    You should bleed the pollock after catching it, its a lot better for taste and colour.
    Just cut a gill and leave it in a bucket to bleed out.

    The bigger the pollock the better owing to bones. My kids actually really like them.

    Pollock to me is not as meaty as cod and needs to be consumed quickly as loses it's firmness after a day or so.
