Editing 8mm Cine reels

I've recently converted 180 8mm cine reels that my late Father had to digital using a Wolverine. I have a editing programme called Filmora wondershare. I need to slow down the converted reels, how do I do this? also how many frames per second should I be working on? Any advise appreciated.

I've been looking into the same thing recently and came across this article

That says the 8mm was at 16fps.

How did you get on with the wolverine scanner? I've been toying with the idea of buying one.
