Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

VAT question on purchase from mainland Europe

    Hi

Just a quick question. I am soon to make a purchase from Germany for a product with a value of roughly 450 euro. The German VAT rate of 19% will be applied to the product upon my purchase of it, however I was just wondering if I'd also have to pay any additional VAT when my parcel reached Ireland?

    Many Thanks.

When it's a personal purchase within the EU, you don't have worry about VAT. Depending on if it's a physical or digital product you pay the other country's or the Irish VAT rate.
