Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Managed to get cheap flights to faro algarve Portugal. Where would be a romantic hotel to stay? I like Lagos but it's too far from airport. Anybody stay at a nice romantic hotel with beach and restaurants close by?

    You should look somewhere close to the old town of Albufeira, in fact I think there might actually even be 1 or 2 that overlooks the beach.

    Vilalara Thalassa near Armacao is a fantastic hotel with a really nice beach (Cova Redondo)
    They have their own private area of it
    We walked around there a few yrs ago and place is full of honeymooners and friends stayed on theirs and highly recommended it
    Its about a 10-15min walk into the town and there are loads of really good restaurants there
    The Vita Parc is across the road but isn't beach front

    Am in quarteira at the minute,23.13 and its 21c. Lovely place. Was in Albufera last night way to buzy for me. Fabulous restaurants here too,dam cheap. Download the uber app before you come here,its brilliant.
