Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Open/Canadian Canoeing Course near Clare

    Hi all, Just wondering if anyone knows of an open canoeing course in the Limerick/Clare/Galway area. I,ve got a canoe which I,m grand on in flat water but a bit nervous in moving water. I,d love to learn how to reenter it after capsizing but its not as easy as it looks in the books. I use it for fishing the lakes down here and would feel alot more confident with a bit of training. Done a level 2 kayak skills a few years ago so I,d probably start on level 3 in the open canoe. I,ve checked on the net and cant find anything, all seems to be kayak related. Maybe if there are others in the area(East Clare) looking for training we could hire an instructer as a group.
