Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Have 28 acres for taking, it used to be my late uncles tenancy the guy asked if i would be intrested, nice little parcel, water, electricity and pen on site, away from houses so no dogs. bit of a narrow road down and 3 acres of bad ground are the only negatives, he was throwing in the bad ground free to my uncle. its just rushy and not taken care of the rest is decent grazing. how much would it go for ? i have a plan for it was thinking of grazing ewes and and store lambs from august on and making hay or wrapped bales from may-july it would mean i could stock more cattle at home. might give it a go for a year or two see does it work , i dont have any ground taken

All depends on the area location, I rent 90% of the land I farm, I am based in the North West.

Average quality land here is making €100-130/acre without entitlements, we also rent some good quality ground in Westmeath, we pay €185/acre without entitlements.

Does this land have entitlements or do you have any stacked elsewhere that you can put on it.

I never quiet understood the whole renting craic?
On average ground rent is €130 an acre without entitlements? What would the rent be with entitlements?

    It’d actually be less
Allot of renters have their own entitlements
Farms with entitlement attached means the renter has to least their own entitlement which is less attractive
