Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The hay saved and Cork bet ... not a bad start to the Summer

Unfortunately, beating Cork was easier said than done.

A fine looking woman, I rather have her down than a field of hay and she’d be saved a lot quicker.

Another one was I’d rather be feeling her than feeling the cold.

I agree with you - it’s what builds a friendship with a neighbor being able to do something back and forth.

    April showers bring May flowers.
A wet and windy May fills the barns with corn and hay.

Cuckoo corn - barley, wheat, oats, sown in May.

Around here it's often said that someone "fell in for some land" when they are gifted it. The first time I heard the phrase I took it up wrongly and asked were they okay thinking that they'd had an accident!
