Just going to replace a chainset that is bust and thinking of the dura ace 9100 34/50 chainset. Have dura ace 9000 front derailleur and been hearing its not compatible. Anyone using this combo? Shimano always saying certain parts don't work together but I've used plenty of non-compatible bits together with no probs so hoping this pair will be the same?

The spacing is different on the 9100 chainrings for a reason a I can't recall. The 9100 compatibility chart is a headache compared to other ones.

That said it can work but requires a bit of playing around

    Thanks Weepsie,

Aye had heard the spacing was different but only by 0.4mm. Also read in the past other shimano parts weren't compatible but never had a problem swapping parts just thought someone out there might be running this set up. Always worth a check
