I was on list for this year, but never made any of the events. I'll say take me off for next year, smallie #1 is on the way so probably wont play too much let alone travelling the country for it.

In saying all that, some lovely courses on the list that I wouldn't mind getting to again. I hope ye all enjoy the rounds, and the captain the year!

Shame they didn't actually talk about the course all that much, but still an enjoyable episode (and series).

Agreed, place looked spectacular, but there was a bit too much emphasis on the birdie count & not enough on the course!

Thanks Captain, I have been a bit disconnected from golf in the last couple of months, great set of courses, love enniscrone, one of my favourite courses, try to play it every year.

GUI is 16.9 on the way up

Hi, Purdy. You're more than welcome to join, absolutely.

there is an annual sub of €30, and then the average outing is generally around the €35 mark.

We'll have 2 more outings next year that will be at more of a premium, the first & last, Portmarnock & Captains in Enniscrone, but they won't be excessive at all, and are top notch courses.

More details will be announced closer to the time of each event.

There is some more detail on the society rules, etc... here:

I'd be very interested in join you guys this year. Started getting into golf over the last couple of months. Don't have a handicap so was wondering how that might work?

    how good are you?

I wouldn't say I'm the worst but certainly no Tiger Woods.

I'd say on a good day I'm average.
