Looking for a good shed alarm system

Hi Folks,

I'm looking at this shed/van PIR alarm:

Simple PIR with alarm (125 dB). Has option to run off batteries and a remote control to arm/disarm it.

It's close to what I want, however I want the device to alert me when it's been triggered. Has anyone seen something similar but with feedback to the remote control to say the alarm is going off?

Assume there's no Wi-Fi. Friend is using the item above and it's working well for him

What house alarm does he have? Can you add a wireless sensor? Is it within reach of the hub? An Ajax or other similar might allow you to extend...

Exactly. If you have a good house alarm then it is generally best to simply extend it.

Alarm is a basic wired model (Astec). No Wi-Fi available :-(. The shed is already observed by a Netatmo Outdoor Camera, but I'm looking to add another layer of security.

Some pointers:
Remove philips head or flat head screws from hinges and bolts and replace with dome head or another less common type that are bolted from behind... Many times the hinges are just removed to gain access.
Add an extra bolt on the front face.
Use small but robust padlocks... longer shafts are easily gotten aroiund.
I also have an alarmed padlock inside the shed, if interfered with will sound. Too much hassle to have it on the door.

If you want an alarm that gives notifications through your phone etc. you'll need a form of communication: wifi, gsm, wired etc... this poses its own problems.

Arlo do a 'Go' Camera, that uses a sim card... so can be located remotely.
