Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Diagnose Noisy Tumble Dryer

    Hi,

I have a Beko DCU8230 that has recently started making a strange sound (see video below)

    https://youtu.be/k4elhXrwxIw

The noise can be affected by putting pressure on the heat shield on the back so I suspect it is the blower fan as it seems to be coming from that general area.

Would you agree or is it something else?

    Thanks

Noises can come from many sources in appliances, start by removing the filter and turn the dryer upside down and shake it, I have often had similar dryer problems caused by coins dropping out of pockets and making their way down to the fan blower and making a racket, if you have no success the only other course of action is dismantle it and find the cause of the noise, the fan may also have loosened off the shaft of the motor
