Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Vintage DIY product- The Atomic Weather Strip

    I know it's hardly a collectible, but it's still an interesting piece of 1960s DIY building material, new and unused in it's original packaging. I present the "Atomic Weatherstrip"- this is a band of copper/ phosphor bronze strip which is tacked to the door or frame and creased using the attached seaming tools to form a weather strip that would (presumably) outlast any of the cheaper plastic or foam strips of the time. I never seen this type of product fitted to older doors but I imagine it would have been effective!
