    Yeah i think thats a pretty fair assessment of wilson. Foulds on tv earlier says he's one of the most determined players he's ever seen and wouldnt argue with that. But he does come across a bit mechanical in terms of style and fact he always seems to be tinkering with his cue action only adds to that. Cue ball control can be dicey at times too which is probably what separates him from the very top elite.

    Robertson has just played too much snooker lately, bound to run out of energy at some stage. Think the shootout is the next tournament, I would imagine he’ll sit that one out.

    I fancied Murphy for that frame but an ambitious attempt at dislodging the black to stay on the brown after potting the final green when wrong. I think he hit it with too much pace. Shows he's feeling quite confidant which is always a good thing but that kind of shot can always go wrong even if he made contact with the black.

    Hasn't thrown him though, responds with a century. Trump will have to thrown in a century or 2 himself to recover this match I feel.

    Trumps jumps out of his seat to fire in an almost century in no time. I'd say he's gaggin to beat Murphy after his last defeat to him where he made 3 centuries but lost 3 - 6.

    Yes very poor miss on that black by Wilson. Miles away. Ronnie not firing on all cylinders but will be happy to lead 3-1 at the mid session interval.

    Appalling standard of snooker from Wilson and O'Sullivan. This is the semi-final. O'Sullivan lucky to be 3-1 up, though Wilson has just pulled one back, on a break, well past the snooker stage.

    Wilson doesn't have the bottle. Should have played the brown into the middle. Didn't, made a mess of a safety, went in off and handed Ronnie a decent chance.

    Yet again Ronnie leaves a decent chance for Wilson off his break. That break off shot of his has been a disaster for the past couple of seasons. Amazed he hasn't tried to change it up.

    The standard has been patchy, improving as the match goes on though. Conditions look poor.

    Atrocious attempt from Ronnie on the brown just there. They've both been awful for the most part, sprinkled with a few decent spells.

    The quest coverage is so bad. Evans and white are genuinely both very knowledgeable and absolutely devoid of charisma.

    Then bits where they recreate shots can be interesting but it turns into Top Gear style banter with Neil Foulds refusing to take part and looking awkward.

    Don't know what Wilson was attempting on the shot that ended his break. Wilson has made some dreadful decisions, he's lucky O'Sullivan has been cack.

    None of those 3 reds looked pottable, so he surely had to play canon. Was a strange choice of shot alright.
