I am disappointed, though that was a fine challenge :) A morning of Kilmore Quay, Mount Bellew, etc, etc.

Nerd-alert, Purps :) How did you know? I do have an XLS version of this for that very purpose...

Nope, a good 3-4 hour drive from Ferns.

Hmm. My first thought was "That's the Boyne," but you'd be hard pushed to take three hours from Wexford to Baltray.

Is it too early early to ask for the province or *wince* county? :)

3.5 hour-ish drive from Baltray. River has the same name as the place. Lough of the same name feeds the river.

Yes too early for a province or county, that makes it too easy :D

The clues probably make it a bit easkier than the province would have...

Maybe that was my plan all along :D

*Will wait for someone to give the full name of the place anyway*

That fruit is probably too low for anyone to grab, so I'll plough ahead - Easky.

My extensive (and utterly useless outside of this thread) knowledge of recycling centres in church car parks tells me this is...

    Inagh, Co. Clare.

Yup. Incidentally, also one of the three places that have lough, river and placename the same, though after I posted I realised that the lough and river are nowhere near each other.

There's a Peugeot 307 less than 1.5km from that church on Streetview that had a habit of being parked outside a former residence of mine. (Not a hint, not even an interesting fact :P)

Google "((national school AND church) AND (ireland munster -limerick)) NEAR ("Peugeot 307")"

    :):):):):)

This has been a fine one, BRB. Clare, Cork and Kerry scoured today with no luck. Tipp and Blaa-la-land tomorrow.
