Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Where do you shop?

    So fellow cyclomaniacs, where do you do your cycling-related shopping?
    I was going to get ready for these cold Irish days and buy a set of arms and leg warmers so I started googling for decent cycling shops around Ireland.

    I found 2;
    chainreactionscycles.com - decent prices, free delivery to Ireland, located in Belfast
    cyclesuperstore.ie - located in Tallaght, but prices are hitting the roof! arm warmers start at 30 euro ...

    So... are there any other good shops with decent prices that allow you to purchase online?

    Very nice collection of websites, thanks a lot!
    Wiggle seems to be just what I was looking for, wide selection of warmers, very good prices.

    I use my lbs, Carrick cycles. In the past I've used wiggle, crc (shop and net), CSS and Richies in Swords when I was local. I've had enough free little jobs done and advice from my local shop that I only use them now.
    Might be using the net for my next bike ( Rose or Canyon topping the list at the moment) but I'll still give them a chance to get near what the web can offer on price

    I use CRC, Wiggle and Ebay, in fact i think i've bought the biggest majority of stuff on ebay. I got a Lusso Roubaix full bib winter tights from a seller in the UK for £18 posted from the UK. They were used a few time but in near perfect condition. Couldnt fault them and they're over £60 on wiggle so definite bargain!

    For basic simple gear maybe for a starter like myself check out www.sportsdirect.com/cycling/
    Seen the same stuff twice the price in local shops.

    I buy on Wiggle and more recently CRC. Find Wiggles pricing changes wildly from day-to-day which annoys me, also CRC are based in Northern Ireland, so the postage is quicker I think. Bike24 are ok but have to pay for postage.

    Try to buy in my LBS where I can. Last two tools I got were cheaper in my local shop than on CRC or wiggle.

    Lbs.
    Find a good one and support it.

    Shop in your local bike shop or you'll soon find you don't have a local bike shop
