Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi All, I've just recently moved to Mullingar and was just looking for info on local lakesand rivers, where can i fish for free, where do i need permits, looking for pike, trout etc

    Best advice is find your local fishing tackle shop and everything you need to know should be accurate and free

    You definitely need a permit, see here.

    "Wild!" (next to the harbour shopping centre) is also worth a look.
