Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

How do I get a new licence plate?

    Hi,

    As the title says, how do I go about getting my license plate replaced? It's going to tatters a bit, before it gets worse I'd like to sort it.

    Or online. Eireplates etc..

    Moforfactors as above will be cheaper most likely. Likes of autocare

    As said, most local motor factors will do it for you. Some while you wait.

    Halfords do them but might ask you to show your log book

    Some will ask for proof that you own the car so bring the logbook.

    This "licence plate" stuff is pure Yank, there is no "licence" associated with a car in this country. At least the OP spelled "licence" the correct way :)

    Such sticklers for the English language, if only you had you own language you could use, maybe they could teach it in all the schools.

    He means Irish I think, but I haven't a clue what number plates are as gaeilge
