Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Airlock Hell!

Old house and whenever water shut off we have a nitemare with airlocks.

This time we needed immersion changed downstairs and I shut off one value in the attic that fed the hot water tank there.

Ever since though, the upstairs bathroom has no cold water in sink or bath.

I’ve tried a hose from the hot on each to the respective cold but no joy.

I also think both cold taps are linked somehow (same pipe from attic with a T perhaps) and when I open one can hear air come out some times but no sign of any water.

Any tips as to what else I can try as been like this for weeks now?

    Thanks

Put a hose on it from kitchen cold or outside tap. Those will be under mains pressure.
