Has that been confirmed by 6N? Nothing on their site or social media and still have fixture down as site.

Ireland’s World Cup European Qualifying competition – originally scheduled for next month – has been postponed.

It is hoped that the Qualifier will instead take place at some point in early 2021 but there has been no confirmation of new dates at this stage.

As the world cup is due to be played next September i wonder when these games will be played.

Did Argentina not compete in the women's world cup qualifiers, and if not why not? It seems odd that Colombia are still in but not Argentina.

Argentinian womens rugby is very poor at least at 15s. Far more of a focus on 7s at international level.

The women's Rugby World Cup will expand from 12 to 16 teams from 2025

    Great to see that.

Whenever these european qualifiers are played. we know if we dont qualify through them that we will play Kenya or Colombia, Samoa and 2nd in Asia in the repechage tournament.

Sophie Spence has joined the Wales women’s team as their Rugby World Cup 2021 coach intern.

Should Ireland qualify they may get chance to have their own intern in place.

World Rugby want more female coaches in the sport and want minimum of 40 per cent of coaches in the 2025 world cup to be women.

No surprise by that considering so many players are amateur.

World Cup qualifiers Ireland have to play almost certainly now will be double headers with the 6 nations games
If they cant be played by April who knows what will happen considering world cup is due to start September 18th

    Great for her

Delighted for her. She's been quite involved in London Irish womens rugby since they started up few years ago and done work with exiles as well.
She will do a lot to change up the Saffers and actually build them up to be competitive which they are very far from being now

Fair play best of luck to her. Ironically Irish Rugby could do with someone like her in a similar position

Oh they could indeed. Though is Anthony Eddy who came in via Nucifora not in that role?
He's meant to be director of womens and 7s rugby.

The international programme has had its issues in terms of results the past few years but structures are getting there its below that where the issues are and where Eddy needs to be doing so much more.

World Rugby has announced details of a new annual global women’s 15s competition model and international playing windows that they anticipate will supercharge the women’s game.

Underscoring its commitment to increase competition, commercial and fan engagement opportunities while raising competitiveness of the women’s game on the road to an expanded 16-team Rugby World Cup 2025, World Rugby has launched WXV, a three-tiered annual competition model that will start in 2023.

Supported by an initial £6.4 million World Rugby investment, the three WXV competitions will feature 16 teams and will be hosted within a new September-October global competition window, except in a Rugby World Cup year.

Unbelievable. Her history is something else. Played 2 sports senior international level, another at 18s and then played and won senior inter county all irelands as well.
And playing this level at age of 40 makes it even more amazing.

Know a few players through family. Great seeing players come through from what are mens junior clubs/ "non traditional areas"
