Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Morning guys and girls :)

What is the biggest MCB that you are permitted to use with a 10sq cable?

It depends on a number of factors but 40A would typically be comfortable.

Indeed. And quite often 50A would be fine.

As above it depends on how it is installed, ambient temperature, grouping and other derating factors etc. and also the maximum temperature for the switchgear and terminals it is connected to (generally 70 degrees C).
