Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Anyone recommend a good strong landing net suitable for saltwater. Mainly for rock fishing for pollack, bass, wrasse ect. One suitable for catch and release. Recently got back into fishing and have had pollack to 4 or 5 lbs but finding it hard to land them safely. Have the unhooking mat and disgorger ect and using a single barbless hook setup which is working well but can be difficult to get them out of the water to unhook.

    Hi,

i would recommend a strong aluminium handled landing net with a handle you can extend.

Iv been using this kind of net for about 5 years or more and never an issue at all it has 3 sizes you can extend which is really helpful when on the rocks

    Pic attached

    Hope this helps
