I didn't listen but I wish you well. There's clearly a market for a good horseracing podcast especially with the final furlong pod degenerating further.

What made you come around to the idea of the longshot value rather than backing just as most people do? I'd imagine a lot of people don't limit what they back solely on odds (unless they're Altior at 1/5

Would be interested to hear about any horses you'll be keen to keep an eye on for next year who might not have stood out too much during Cheltenham. I.E. Pic D'Orhy, Thomas Darby, Mister Malarky.

Yeah , ill be re watching all the racing this week before the review ,and hopefully picking out this type of horses. Nothing too obvious as the price wont be good.

Loved the podcast Aidan.

I realise it might be considered a mug's game but would be interested to hear your thoughts about any potential long shots for the championship races at next year's festival as it stands.

Going to do a Grand National Preview Podcast for tomorrow.

Im just going to quickly go through the whole field, with a view to counting and and out horses.

And of course then just telling everyone Valseur Lido wins :rolleyes:.

Anyone with any questions for a particual horse? or anything about national etc..

Too High in the weights, and far too short. Doesn't mean he wont win he's just not value. Its not like he has'nt been tried before. Should be about 33/1 or bigger. 20/1 is a mad price.

You think he is too high in the weights Aidan? Jesus I would have said the opposite??? I think he has been very nicely treated???

What i mean is a rating of 148 seems to be at least about right. He probably doesnt have the 10 lbs in hard to win here, and his price isn't worth the risk to find out.

That said Kevin Blake put him up a his bet in the race, and he's easily the best tipster out there, and lets face it on recent form i couldnt pick the winner of a 1 horse race.

I heard Declan Rix back him a few weeks back also on the FF podcast

Blake is a top class tipster

I find the Kennedy / Rix combo too much to take. Blake can be good when he talks horses but he's a bit compromised by the O'Brien link and his "banter" is beyond cringe.
