Hi all, I've some lights in my hall which vibrate when you walk on the upstairs landing, other than change the lights of a less noisey variety, has anyone ever come up with or seen an alternative means to the normal screws to support the lights which might absorb some of the shock from someone walking upstairs? Thanks!

Not in a house. I've seen anti vibration fixings used on fittings and trunking but in theaters, up high unseen.

Could you look at supporting the floor better.

A few rubber washers might help
