The dropouts have started again in Ashbourne - or at least in my home.
I have had 6 short dropouts in the past 24 hours.
Anyone else with the same issue?

How can you verify if you’ve had a dropout?

I get notifications via my alarm system, but you might notice if your TV Streaming / downloads stop/start

Then I’ve been fine. I usually notice when my ring doorbell will go offline.

Something I did notice recently is with their tv service pause wouldn’t work (or recording) and I’d have to switch off and back on at the back. So I have put a timer plug on to an extension lead that powers the tv box and the Gigabox. It powers off at 3am and back on at 3:02am every day.
Since I’ve done this I’ve had no issues. It’s like a daily reboot keeps everything ticking along nicely.

Could be coincidence but worth a try.

    Thanks Jarvis,

I use the same system, off at 3:00 and back on at 3:01.
All has been well until about a week ago when the multiple dropouts have started to recur.

Hi there, I am in Ashbourne and currently with Virgin.
Contract is almost up and looking to change.

Would anyone recommend one provider over another?

SIRO is available to my address.

    Any guidance would be appreciated.

    Thanks

Switched from VM to Vodafone over a year ago and it’s been fine. Far cheaper and definitely no worse.
