Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi there, The wireless signal in my house is a bit weak and doesnt go all the way upstairs. I have an old EircomD1000, can I buy a new router an TP-Link Archer for example and just replace my eircom router or would there be a lot of configuration involved?

There's not much to swapping out the old modem.
Is your house big, bungalow or has multiple floors?
In these cases might be worth a look at the tp-link mesh systems. Pretty decent spec and price.

You would turn off the modem wifi and place the mesh nodes around your house (one plugged into the old modem or a wired switch usually)

If you're in say a semi D, a good spec tp-link archer will do, they have transmit power settings to boost WiFi signal if needed.
