Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

My bloody wisdom teeth are acting up again and know i can't avoid having to get them out. I have asked to go to the hospital to get this done as i have a massive fear. was hoping to wait until after crimbo to get it done up im too miserable with the pain and can't be taking nerurfen like they are sweets.

anyhow want to know how long after your assesment did you get an apt for anyone who got them out in the hospital before? ill be going private.

also how long did it take you to recover? ill need the tooth beside the wisdom tooth out also.

do you think i could be cheeky and ask to get a clean done while im under. am well happy to pay for it.

The dentist who is referring you will be able to answer those questions. Different hospitals have different waiting times.
It's highly unlikely that the specialist oral surgeon removing your wisdom tooth, will do a scale & polish whilst you're there. Mainly because they don't use/have the relevant equipment. But also because cleaning tartar/diseased gums would cause an unnecessary bacterial load& run the risk of increased infection in the surgical site....
