Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Voyager II leaves the Solar System, still not out of the Oort cloud - not even in it yet, that will take thousands of years.

Incredible, to think that after 41 years it's only moved about 16/17 light hours!!

edit actually, found this link, im sure it's been posted before .. but I like the ~real time data...

Thought this looked interesting. MIT have an online course called "Introduction to Aerospace Engineering: Astronautics and Human Spaceflight". It covers concepts including rocket science, orbital mechanics, human spaceflight and life support systems etc. Running for 8 weeks and something to do and learn during the lockdown and gain a bit more insight into aerospace engineering and spaceflight. You go at your own pace and it is based off their undergraduate program so is a bit more than just a basic course. Signed up myself and looks really interesting and best of all it is free. https://www.edx.org/course/introduction-to-aerospace-engineering-astronautics
