Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

LP set to drift to the NE bringing the precipitation up the country overnight as it dissipates. A few hours of precipitation left perhaps ? Will see.

    Dangerous roads in the morning.

Roundwood 312m asl. Rain turned to snow in last 15 minutes. Fat, wet flakes absolutely teaming down. Came home at 6.30 to the remnants of a big enough fall judging by how it thawed. We'll see how this one goes!

With the low centre more or less slap bang over Dublin at the moment, would there be better chance of evaporation cooling helping to bring snow down to lower levels? As the precipitation will be falling more or less straight down due to lack of wind, it therefore has less distance to travel and therefore less time passing through the air with unfavourable WB temperatures.

That's all assuming that there are no other factors at play such as warmer air in the core or being brought around from the south, etc.
