Here's a picture that Trump put out, accusing Pelosi of having a meltdown. While I understand why he would go with some projection, the more you look at what's happening in the picture, the more you wonder why he would put out what could be a Pelosi congressional campaign ad.

What strikes me about this photo are the guys on Trump's side they all have their heads down, they are embarrassed to be associated with this fool. Look at the general he just want the ground to open up and swallow him....

Oh Yeah Nancy has that image as her Twitter banner picture as well now :D:D:D

Are you so blinded by a desire to get one over on trump that youre willing to put forward fox news as credible to get there ?

In the words of Alan Partridge; "Whoa Whoa Whoa!... That's English for 'Stop a horse!'"

I have issues with Fox News, as I'm sure most do. My issues mostly stem however from their opinion/editorial sections; Fox & Friends, Hannity, Carlson, Pirro, Ingraham, and a lot of the talking heads they bring on. Not to mention their fear-mongering (when it suits) and downplaying actual injustices (when it suits). Yes, make no bones about it, Fox News is bad.

But, the reason I quoted that tweet was to show the source of the letter that was circulating, to show it came from a verified account, one from a Fox Business presenter (regardless of my opinion of Fox News as a whole) who was putting her name to it. The question was, was the letter fake? I was trying to show that it wasn't some parody letter The Daily Show put up, or any of the many Trump parody accounts; the letter, even though it was put up by a Fox Business presenter, was most likely real. And as we now know, it is.

    tl;dr - Stopped clock etc

However, the fact that you say "desire to get one over on Trump" implies that you feel the letter is such that it is in some way negative for Trump. Care to expand on your thoughts on the wording and tone of the letter?

In other bizarro Trumpworld news, apparently Peter Navarro, so-called trade negotiator, quotes an 'economic expert' in his books, who doesn't exist. The name of the expert is an anagram of Navarro (Ron Nava.) Basically, Navarro gets confirmation of his economic ideas, from the voices in his head. Navarro's admitted that this expert doesn't exist. You can kind of tell, since China's basically won the 'trade war.' Navarro needs to listen to better voices in his head.

The posture of about half of Trump's side screams that "I'm not getting involved..." shape people adopt in those situations. Clasping the hands together and looking down at the table, trying to pretend there isn't a guy beside you ranting and raving. Seen it - and done it myself! - in dozens of office meetings that went a bit fractious.

Especially for the general, who seems the most fascinated by the wood grain in the table;I could imagine how the longstanding tradition of respecting the office of the president must be difficult to maintain ATM. Trump is a vulgar, braying OAP and even the most deferential towards the office - as you'd imagine many generals would be - must be having severe doubts about the abilities of Trump to command the armed forces.

What’s really striking for me is that none of the people on Trump’s side have been in their job more than a year, with the exception of Steve Mnuchin.

Just went on Twitter to see if there's more info available. Instead I've seen a high amount of absolutely disgusting and vile messages about Cummings, some evangelicals shouting about how this means that God is stopping the impeachment, etc. Low human beings. Unbelievable.

Does anyone know if Mike Pence and Mike Pompeo are still in Turkey with President Erdogan trying to sort out a deal with him on Syria? According to The Independent the US has 50 nuclear weapons stored in a bunker on its NATO base at Incirlik and if things go bad relationship-wise between both countries, the US will have to remove the 50 from Turkey, but that would mean the relationship was over. Erdogan made a statement a month ago that he was unhappy that under the non-proliferation accord, Turkey could NOT have nuclear weapons like Israel does. Is Erdogan playing a long term game with a US President he sees as pliable and not long for the job?

Just seeing that Elijah Cummings has died. Was he ill ? He looked in good shape anytime I've seen video of him as a committee chairman during the trump administration. I suppose it's too much to ask for trump to give a presidential like statement without making it personal ?

I think he had health complications a few weeks/months ago and never fully recovered from it.

Whatever comes out of Trump's mouth today cannot be taken as sincere.

Two months ago, this was Trump's take on the man...

Pelosi had to end the meeting early feeling that, after Republicans refused to back his stand on Syria by 2 to 1, that " he was just not relating to the reality of it.”

The dumber Trump acts, the more it appeals to the base from what I can see.

Yep. It's only for his base. Unfortunately for him, he has made no effort to expand his base and I would be surprised if it wasn't shrinking. I'd be curious to know the attendance figures of his rallies over time.
